JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – Shares of PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (IDX:APLN) fell 10 percent in morning trade on Monday (April 4) after the company’s President Director Ariesman Widjaja surrendered himself to the Police on graft case.

At 09:50 a.m., APLN shares fell Rp30 or down 10 percent at Rp270.

The Police has declared Ariesman as a suspect in graft case. He was accused to have bribed members of the Jakarta Province’s Regional Representative Council (DPRD) in relation to the development of a reclamation project in North Jakarta bay.

Last week, the police has caught red-handed M. Sanusi, the head of Commission D of the DPRD DKI, when receiving bribe money from an exmployee of Agung Podomoro Trinanda Prihantoro.

In addition, the Police has also barred owner of PT Agung Sedayu group Sugianto Kusuma from travelling abroad on alleged implication in the bribery case. (*)
