JCI seen to be flat on lack of incentives
JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – The Indonesian market is expected to be flat today amid lack of sentiments that could drive the market.

On Monday, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) ended slightly higher by 6.960 points or up 0.12 percent, at 4,850.176 points, while the LQ-45 was up 2.664 points or up 0.32 percent at 842.960. Gainers led decliners 137 to 160, with 100 stocks unchanged.

Overnight, Wall Street shares declined. Dow Jones index lost 55.75 points (down 0.31 percent) at 17,737, while S&P 500 index fell 6.65 points (down 0.32 percent) at 2,066.13 points. Nasdaq Index declined  22.75 points (down 0.46 points) at 4,891.80.

The JCI yesterday opened lower, but bounced back at mid-day before ended in positive territory.

William Surya wijaya, the head of research of PT Asjaya Indosurya Securities, said he expects the market to go up, but limited.He expects the JCI to trade within support level of 4,821 and resistance level of 4,881 points.
