JCI on consolidation mode

JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) –  The Indonesian stock market is expected to be in consolidate phase today, with market players are waiting for new economic data.

On Thursday, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) ended in red zone, after losing 38.159 points or down 0.79% to close at 4,814.846. The LQ45 lost 7.902 points or down 0.94% at 831.558.

William Surya Wijaya, head of Research Department PT Asjaya Indosurya Securities, of Asjaya Indosurya said the market could be flat in early trade as the market players are waiting for the release of economic data.

He said technically the JCI is expected to trade within range of 4,802 – 4,881 points today. The consolidation is expected to continue, while (market players) waiting for the the release of economic data today, he said.



The JCI may still try to reach the resistance level of 4,881, amid the fluctuation of commodity prices, in particular oil.
