PP plans to issue bonds $833m, pay dividend Rp30.58 a share

JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – State-owned construction firm PT PP Persero Tbk (IDX: PTPP) is mulling over plans to issue bonds or loans worth up to $833 million. President Director of PP Tumiyana said the funds will be used for investments and working capital.

He explained, up until April 2016, PP has pocketed approximately Rp4.9 trillion in new contracts, boosting its order book to Rp43.9 trillion. The number of the new contracts is 16 per cent of the company’s total target by year-end.

In the annual general meetings, PP’s shareholders agreed to share cash dividends Rp30.58 per share or in total Rp148.07 billion. The cum-dividend will be done on May 10, while the cum-dividend payout in the cash market will take place on three days after on May 13, 2016.

Then the ex-dividend payout in the regular market and negotiation market will be on May 11 and the ex-dividend for the cash market on May 16.  Shareholders who are entitled for the cash dividends can start registering on May 13, 2016. The dividend payouts will be made on June 1, 2016.

In 2015, PP booked revenue of Rp 14.22 trillion in 2015, a 14.4 per cent increase year-on-year ( yoy ). Its costs climbed 12.22 per cent yoy to Rp 12.21 trillion allowing the publicly listed company’s net profits to jump 38.79 per cent to Rp 740.33 billion.
