Sillo Maritime to buy one unit of FSO next year

JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – Newly listed shipping firm PT Sillo Maritime Perdana Tbk (SHIP) plans to buy one unit of Floating Storage Offloading (FSO) next year as part of the company’s move to strengthen its fleet. The company plans to seek loan worth US$6 million to buy the FSO to support oil and gas industry, the company’s finance director Herjati said.

Sillo Maritime listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange on Thursday (June 16). Recently, the company acquired shares of PT Suasa Benua Sukses (SBS). The company will focus on developing this company this year. Currently, Sillo Maritime has 8 vessels comprises of various types, including FSO, tug boat, self propelled oil barge, crew boat and utility vessels.

Sillo listed 500 million units of shares on the IDX or 20 percent of its enlarged capital. The company raised Rp70 billion from the IPO. The IPO price was set at Rp140 per share. As much as 67.9 percent of the IPO was used to acquire SBS. (*)
