Indonesian shares ends morning trade higher on cabinet reshuffle

JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – Indonesian shares ended morning trade Wednesday (July 27) in green zone as market sentiment was boosted by cabinet reshuffle in which President Joko Widodo appoints some heavyweight figures in the cabinet line-up including Finance Minister Sri Mulyani, currently managing director of World Bank and former finance minister and Wiranto as Coordinating Minister for Politics, Legal and Security Affairs.

At midday, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) ended the morning session higher 60.478 points or up 1.56 percent at 5,284, while LQ45 went up 11.898 points or up 1.32 percent at 914.094 points.
