The Insider Stories Morning Notes – JCI expected to go up, eyes on cabinet reshuffle

JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – Indonesian shares are expected to trade higher today, extending recent days gains, with planned announcement of new cabinet line-up could provide some support to the market.

On Tuesday, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed up 3.593 points or up 0.07 percent to 5,224.395, while LQ45 closed up 2.051 points or up 0.23 percent to 902.196. Five sectors recorded gains, while five other sectors went down, with infrastructure stocks recorded highest increase of 1.23 percent. As many as 6.35 billion stocks changed hands worth Rp6.4 trillion.

President Joko Widodo is expected to announce second cabinet reshuffle at around 11 a.m. and followed by official installments after midday.

Asjaya Indosurya said in its morning notes that the JCI is expected to move within support level of 5,174 points and resistance level of 5,288 points.
