The Insider Morning Notes – JCI seen to go up today on capital inflow

JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – Indonesian shares are expected to trade higher today, extending yesterday’s gains, supported by capital inflow and upbeat on stable interest rate following the central bank’s decision to set 7 Days Repo Rate at 5.25 percent.

On Monday, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) rose 11 points or up 0.21 percent to 5,427.17 with trading value reaching Rp5.1 trillion. Leading the gain was Astra International as well as SCMA, UNTR, ICBP and PGAS.

As many as 144 stocks rose, 168 declined and 109 stocks were unchanged. Technically, said Bahana Securities, the JCI is projected to move within supported level of 5,400 and resistance level of 5,450 points today.

Among stocks to watch are including:

ADRO,

AKRA,

BJTM,

CPIN,

EXCL,

PSAB.
