The Insider Stories Morning Notes – JCI expected to go up on technical rebound, global markets

JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – Indonesian shares are expected to trade higher today on technical rebound, extending gains on Friday. The gains in some global markets may also boost domestic market.

On Friday, the Jakarta Composite Index (IDX) ended  at 5,399.885 points, rose 59.458 points or up 1.11 percent, while LQ45 gained 14,153 points or up 1.54 percent at 931.427. Almost all sectors increased led by financial stocks, which rose 1.8 percent, followed by consumer goods index which added 1.70 percent.

Asjaya Indosurya said technically the JCI is projected to move within support level of 5,336 points and resistance level of 5,448 points today. As many as 156 stocks rose, 116 declined and 100 stocks were unchanged.

“Today, the JCI has the potentiality to go up,” it said.
