JCI bullish in the middle of the demo on Jakarta’s Governor



JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) rebound 0.6 percent or 33.62 points to 5,362.66 in the middle of demo of the Jakarta’s governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama on Friday. The JCI had dropped 0.41 percent or 21.88 points to 5,307.62 at the end of first session of Friday trading.

Total volume of transactions recorded 10.37 million with a transaction value of Rp8.07 trillion (US$617.86 million). On the regular market, foreign investors recorded a net sales Rp966,44 billion.

A total of 180 shares rose, 99 stocks declined, 101 stocks did not move, and 190 shares not traded. The entire 10 sectors rose, led by the mining sector which rose + 2.34% and basic industries rose + 1.47 percent.

From Asia, the majority of stock index corrected. Nikkei225 index in Japan fell -1.34 percent, South Korea’s Kospi fell -0.09 percent, and the Hang Seng in Hong Kong fell -0.18 percent.

This afternoon, the majority of European stock markets also weakened since it opened this afternoon. FTSE100 index in Britain dropped -1.08 percent, DAX in Germany fell -0.84 percent, and the CAC in France fell -0.69 percent.

In the foreign exchange market, the exchange rate rose slightly +7 points (+ 0.05 percent) to Rp13.068 per US dollar, after moving in the range Rp13.058-Rp13.115.

Top gainer of Friday’s trading are LCGP (up 34.91% to Rp143), AKKU (up 24.50% to Rp376), MFMI (up 16.96% to Rp400), NIPS (up 16.28% to Rp500), LRNA (up 14.20% to Rp193), TINS (up 11.58% to Rp1,060), KRAS (up 10.61% to Rp10.61%), INTA (up 9.09% to Rp240), TBMS (up to 8.33% to Rp715) and IMAS (up 7.91% to Rp1,500).

Top losers namely VICO (-9.84% to Rp110), TMPI (-9.71% to Rp93), BKDP (-9.64% to Rp75), MYTX (-9.33% to Rp68), LMSH (-8.85% to Rp474), INDR (-7.89% to Rp700), MLIA (-7.46% to Rp620), ARTI (-7.41% to Rp50), KBLM (-7.14% to Rp520) and DPUM (-6.88% to Rp745).

Meanwhile, Rupiah dropped 0.05 percent to Rp13,068 from at Rp 13,075 against US dollar.
